Do you blow up every single balloon yourself?

Of course I do, because I love my job! But I will have to respond properly once the room stops spinning…

Kidding! I have a handy machine that blows all the balloons up for me. His name is Boris. If you have me ‘round to your place for an event, he usually joins me as my plus one. He has no special dietary requirements.

How much do they cost?

Well, how long is a piece of string? Yea, I hate that saying too…

Because our creations are all made to order, we are unable to give you an exact cost before discussing your personal requirements. We can however, work with you and your budget - just ask! I will happily guide you with options and suggestions to ensure everyone is deliriously happy with the outcome.

How long do the balloons last?

Balloons can be about as temperamental as a toddler! They are very sensitive to their environmental conditions, but here is a rough guide of what to expect when the conditions are just right. Spoiler: They don’t mind which way you cut their sandwich.

Garlands usually last weeks, but have been known to keep kicking months after installation.

Helium arrangements are the most temperamental due to helium being extra sensitive to hot and cold temperatures. Shrinking and expanding may occur throughout your helium balloons lifespan.

Our Standard size helium balloons last around 2 days, the Large balloons approximately 4 days and our Foil balloons can last between 1-2 weeks.

Do you deliver and to what suburbs?

Yes! When I’m not working in my studio, I’m living in my car, delivering all of your beautiful orders. We deliver all over the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney, with delivery and installation fees included in your quote.

How good is that?!

Help! I would like my child to wake up to their balloons but I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Do you do overnight delivery and how much does this cost?

Yes, we do offer overnight delivery to ensure your child wakes up to their balloons without ruining the surprise… we’re almost like a balloon fairy!

To secure your booking, we require payment upfront for our Helium arrangements, and a $400.00 deposit for our balloon garlands.

We know that life does a fairly good job of not always going to plan, but unfortunately, all deposits are non-refundable and they will cover the cancellation fee. To take a closer look at our Cancellation Policy, we strongly recommend reading our Terms and Conditions for more info.

I like to think of myself as a little bit crafty and I’d like to keep costs down. Do you offer some kind of DIY service?

Don’t worry, my friend. We got you! You can order one of our Pick up Packages via our Enquiry Form.

Drats! I’ve had to cancel my order. Can I still pick up my materials since I’ve paid for them with the booking fee?

As much we would love that for you, your non-refundable deposit now becomes your cancellation fee - surprise! It does not cover the cost of materials that I have already ordered for you. Sorry, girl!

What type of balloons do you use?

We know balloons get a bad wrap. But because we care about the Earth (and let’s be honest, we’ve kinda done a sh*tty job of looking after it up until recently), all of our latex balloons are 100%, environmentally-loving, biodegradable. Our foil balloons are not biodegradable however, but these stunners are completely reusable. Pretty cool, huh?!

What do you use to hang the garlands?

Great question! The answer is equal parts magic, love and 3M Command Hooks.

Sometimes they can be a bit fiddly so here is a link that shows you how to safely remove them after your event.

Yikes! The text on my personalised balloon has lifted. Can this be fixed?

Because helium balloons are known to contract when they are cold, this can sometimes affect your perfectly placed lettering.

It sucks, I know. But it’s a part of that #balloonlife.

To fix this, gently peel the vinyl off your balloon and stick it back to the balloon. While we can’t control the weather, to try and avoid this happening early on, keep your balloons at room temperature to best maintain the look of your personalised balloon.

Oh no! A balloon has popped! What do I do?!

Sadly, once your balloons are handed over to you, Bec Lou Events is not responsible for any balloons that pop, are stolen or lost. If the fault is my own and I pop a balloon, it will be replaced at no extra charge, or a refund will be issued if we're unable to get a replacement in time.
